Green Field Family Farm is a sustainable, local family farm in the East/North Texas area. The creation of GFFFarm came from the quest to find the most nutritious food for our families. We were not satisfied with the meat and vegetables coming from factory farms (even "organic" ones). So, we did our homework and started raising our own animals and growing our own vegetables. We have been so successful-we hope to have food to sell to the public soon.
Our philosophy of farming comes from the idea that the best food comes from animals that live as they were designed to live. Our chickens roam in pesticide free pastures with plenty of fresh air, sunshine and green grass. As a result, our eggs are nutritious and the most delicious we have had.
Our vegetables are raised in healthy soil using no chemical pesticides or herbicdes and only organic fertilizers.
